Madness. Very crowded, lively and social opening night. The gallery was quickly overwhelmed and only the determined made it through to the bar. The work and the range of work was wonderful and captivating. The varying approaches artists make to the same topic makes for intriguing viewing. Congratulations to talented fellow artists from ‘ Stitch and Bitch’ and many thanks to the happy crowd who turned up and to gallery owner, Melody.
I was fortunate enough to sell four of the five works exhibited - it is great when your work goes off to a good home. Particular thanks to the marvellous and talented Geraldine who organises and encourages us while tolerating our lateness, randomness and unreliability.
I suspect marshalling ‘Stitch and Bitch’ Artists for an exhibition is worse than herding cats.
